From Japan with love what this all about? Sure it is all about the sushi stuff. Sure, about the sushi stuff because there is no another so popular Japanese food as sushi. People love it and they love visiting the sushi restaurants. Though, there is a problem and that problem is sticks. Those sticks you need to have your sushi with. And there is no way for you to have those with your hands or with fork you used to. It is all about the Japanese culture and in case you are a real sushi lover you have to be respectful towards their culture. I guess they use those sticks in order not to grow too fat because no matter how hungry you are you will sooner or later get tired of those sticks and stop eating. It is actually not that easy to use those and there are also some rules about them. First of all, there is no way for you to use those like a hold for your hairs – it is an offence for Japanese people. And the second of all you should never spears your food with those sticks. This is the way for you to express your disrespect towards Japanese people.
